Review:

Meant to Be by Melody Grace is a sweet romance novel. Set in a beach town, it has all the feels of a sweet nostalgic romance novel. I enjoyed reading and falling in love with these characters. There are many aspects of this story I feel will resonate with readers.

The plot of this story was written very well. I actually really loved how the main character is a romance novel writer. I feel this added a dimension to the story that had readers questioning how much of this story is parallel to Melody's life. I feel it gave me a different perspective than I normally would've had reading other books of the same genre.

The characters in this story are great. They both had some major developing to do in order to progress. Cooper is what every women looks for in a backwoods country boy. Plus, I mean he can fix things which is totally hot. In my opinion, there is nothing sexier than a man who can literally build a house with his own two hands. *swoon* Poppy is a character all on her own. She is a writer so you already know she's a dreamer. She also has an unique way of looking at things. I loved reading her thoughts the most.

The chemistry in this book is what you expect from a romance novel. Sparks fly from the first encounter and continue until it combusts. There is no shortage of heat in this book. Let me just say Cooper knows how to melt a girls heart... and panties!

The writing style in this book is what I expected from Melody. While I like her writing style, this was the only area of her book that bugged me. I felt things progressed a bit too fast to feel organic. With that being said, it didn't ruin the book, just disappointed me a bit personally.

Overall, this is a solid romance novel complete with strong women and sexy as sin men. I would recommend this book to others. I really hope she writes stories for some of the minor characters that I grew to love. Great job!
